Problem: Rollback

Description: Even after setting the save time to 12 millaseconds, there is still an issue.

Information: I go in game and I do a quest or something and then I type .save and .saveall. Then I log out onto the character select screen and find that the location I logged out in Is different from the one listed as last location. For example I go from elwign forrest to darnassus and do a few quests and then save both ways and log onto character select screen only to find that I am back at elwign and I still have all the items I obtained and my gear and equipment is the same however I am missing the skills or spells I have learned in that time and the quests I had done are available again. However quests in the quest log are saved. This should not be happening if the server is not even shut down, We are talking about logging out to the character select screen. So basically the only affected things are, location, skills or spells learned, quests completed, macro placement. This is deeply upsetting and I am sick and tierd of having hours of work mean nothing.

Theory: I do not think it has to do with saveing, because why would items still be in correct locations and have correct quantities when other things are all rolldback?

It could be the repack maby? That used to happen to me till I switched repacks

It has nothing to do with .saveall , It's something with your DB that not saves the Character DB. Try another DB!

My worry is that there is issue that occures after you have obtained so many quests and the file is to big.

Its your SQLyog/Navicat or w/e. Try changing some things in there, save, then reboot it. If its not saved you need to reinstall that.

give us more info on what core rev u are using and what DB you are using... i have a feeling you did not update you DB

I amuseing chrispys latest repack and core yatt ayatta.

I did use mysql and change something and yes it did save.

But everything still rolls back.

are you sure you have the FULL character DB?
player_petskills etc etc etc...

you should have about 12 "player" tables

It has been workign fien without incident for about 3 weeks.

Okay. this has to do with crossed revs, IE:

ascent.exe rev 400, database rev 987, chardb diff rev that logon.exe

just get your files together.

P.S.: Chrispees latest databases are non 2.3.0 compatible, he and Gastric are currently at work for a 2.3 database.

And if its always been an issue then how did i only experience issues recently when i had 2.3.0 from the start?
