Whoa - New patch from blizz - shuts down game?!

No it's not the patch is awesome but some private servers dont work with it and if your thinking "What the hell why would blizzard do that" I think you know they are trying to stop them. If they really want to though they could trying to merge the realmlist.wtf with wow.exe like put thier codes together then noone would really want to modify it.

Blizzard probably just doesn't care about private servers, I mean, the server's aren't causing any trouble. If they had a real problem with private server's all they would have to do is just google search 'WoW private servers' and boom, have a lot of threats/lawsuits.

I dont like private servers anymore because they reduced the xp so levels are easyier but wait for an ascent update I guess

Has any new info came out about the crashing servers?? I was tryin to update ascent afew days ago when I messed up the config files so... I havent been on in afew days well I opened the launcher.exe today after working on ascent because i never heard to open wow.exe befor so that it doesnt patch and wow updated to 2.3 and now I'm I cant get my server up & running I can get wow to say success! when you log in but it never gos past that point is that part of the crash or is it the config files and can anyone tell me what info needs to be changed in the config files??? to make a server public because my friends want to play on it and it took me and my friend to get it up and working last time & that was by a mistake

also does anyone know a link or something to the best or most stable ascent core??????

hey i was just reading that If i uninstalled wow and stop patching befor 2.3 that the ascent server would work again does anyone know if this will work???? untill updates come out to fix the problem

Well what I think is that makes the private server boring so thats why offical is the best server for me. GO BLIZZARD lol

Yup, well blizz obviously released a new patch - it quickly does the whole downloading new patch when you start the game and when its done, it closes wow and doesn't continue.

Anybody else encountering this?!

Sadly, this is very simple to fix, Blizzard cant hold me back for long, My photographic memory remembered a thread in contrib section which im reeleasing with matts permision. Fret not, young padawans, Tinkerfoe Brings fire to Man after EVIL BLIZZARD MADE A SNOWSTORM APPEAR OVER OUR LIGHTER!!!!.

Even then it could till be edited, warden has been adapted to scan realmlist.wtf periodically and ca shut down wow if found with the excuse of a reading error, in order to delay our circumvention of its proccesses
