Me Too I just Now Downloaded 2.3 and all me and my Friends Cant Login
Is it your own private server? If so you can just edit the part about client versions in your .conf file (forgotten which one) if it's not your server then you'll just have to wait for the server owner to change the file

1.Its My Own
2.I did it 8000 and still didnt work it is stuck at sucess
in logonserver.conf
try put this in # Accepted Build Range Setup
<Client MinBuild = "0000"
MaxBuild = "9999">
i have used this config since
2.0 or something, and have never
had problems login after bliz updates.
hasnt tryed 2.3 yet though, cause we dont get it
before tomorrow here in norway.
so its possible that bliz made some major changes again.
if that sollution dont work, you may try extract dpc
and maps again from 2.3, but im not sure if that effects the emulator itself that way

MaxBuild = "8000">

then you better reroll patch back. i always have 2 wow installastions,
one for real wow, one for private servers. then i never
ruins a client for private servers =)
i just try log in with the updated first to see if it works,
then i overwrites the other wow dir if it works perfect.,
Just get the DBCs/Maps for 2.2.3, and put them into your folders. It will downgrade the server to 2.2.3, but your client will still be 2.3, it will work either way.
I get to the login screen then it crashes. I guess we have to wait for a DB for patch 2.3.0.
roflz burlex needs to fix emnobs
so , we can't have server 2.3.0 ?
You can you just need the new Ascent rev and maps/dbcs
The guys at Ascent haven't found a fix either. I'm still waiting as well.
:wave:How to downgrade to any patch!!! (2.2.3 in this case so you can connect to private servers)
Go into you're world of warcraft\data file, Usually located in C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Data. Delete the "Patch.mpq" file (C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\data\patch.mpq)
go back to C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft and run the repair.exe (C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\repair)
And click Reset and check files and wait for that to finish and you're done, It'll patch you back to 2.0.0.
2.0.0 → 2.2.0 (~476 Mb)
World of Warcraft v2.2.0 US Patch - FileFront.com
2.2.0 → 2.2.2 (~8 Mb)
Internode Games Network File Library :: World of Warcraft 2.2.0 to 2.2.2 US/AUS Patch - WoW-2.2.0.7272-to-2.2.2.7318-enUS-patch.exe (No Registration Required)
2.2.2 → 2.2.3 (~2 Mb)
Internode Games Network File Library :: World of Warcraft 2.2.2 to 2.2.3 US/AUS Patch - WoW-2.2.2.7318-to-2.2.3.7359-enUS-patch.exe (No Registration Required)
NOTE: (this is to prevent that annoying automatic update window to 2.3.0)After you are done downgrading wow back to 2.2.3 open C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\realmlist.wtf and change it from:
set realmlist us.logon.worldofwarcraft.com
set patchlist us.version.worldofwarcraft.com
to:
set realmlist 'serverip'
set patchlist 'serverip'
