    NCDB 0.2.X Flying Mount Issue.

I compiled NCDB from the SVN, and for some reason i cannot mount flying mounts, When i click the item, i get my cast bar, it finishes, the mount goes on 2sec cooldown, but i don't mount anything.

Its not a display issue, because i can't fly either, i just walk. I have tried a few flyers, and none of them work; Epic, Blue, Gryphs, Wyverns, the phoenix, Netherwing drake.

I tried installing my Char and Ascent DB's clean and it didn't fix the issue, so just wondering if i am overlooking an update to the DB, or if anyone else has come across the same issue?

Oh, and yes i am in outlands, standing in Shatt

Hmm, odd, because i compiled the core from the Ascent SVN aswell :P

I probably did something wrong or something, I'll giver another compile see if it happens again

    Thanks for the replys tho

What rev did you compile? From time to time I've gotten an error that when I attempt to mount it just does the spell animation and then nothing. This was solved by just restarting the server.

Re: NCDB 0.2.X Flying Mount Issue.

Working with 2016 right now, when i updated my svn i noticed the new stable 23XX out, but when i compiled that my ascent.exe crashed with a windows error. :P

So I'll deal with the 23XX rev later, But i tried to recompile the 2016 and went through smooth like last time, no errors, i put my info back into my config files and it still did the same thing.

When i updated my rev, i turned my MySQL service off and then when everything was ready I turn the service back on, dunno if that matters, but thats what i did anyhow.

My DBC is compiled from MyWarCraftStudio, and like the title says i'm using NCDB 0.2.3 mainly, but i tested the other 0.2.X versions as i thought it was a DB issue.

Thanks for trying to help me out guys

2019, and 2150 are two rev that work very well with NCDB 0.2.3, imo they are the most stable. I will try to get a precompiled 23x rev up in a bit.

Re: NCDB 0.2.X Flying Mount Issue.

    I've been wondering this for a bit now, and didn't want to make a thread to ask, so i'll just jam it here;

When i compile a new Rev of ascent, what do i replace for the update to take place?
Do i just replace everything? 3.dlls, ascent & config, logon & config, and realms?
Or do i only need to replace some of the files?

Re: NCDB 0.2.X Flying Mount Issue.

When I compile a new rev of ascent I replace everything, regardless of if it's been updated or not. I've gotten confused and missed a few files a couple times. It really makes it hard tracking down what the error is when it's so subtle like that.

From their svn: svn://emupedia.com/svn/ncdb but it's not officially 0.2.3 yet, it's just minor changes and fixes until they have enough to justify an update.

What DBC do you need, and the character.sql is included in the NCDB download. You don't specifically need 2019, anything 2.x is good. I'm using the most recent Ascent version right now.
