OK WTF My sql thingy betrayed me

Alright so here I am with wichers repack and I notice my sql/wamp thiny dosent have a password and it warns me that is unsafe so i go to privledges and I edit the password to by the password all my cfg files have and right after i hit go

I GET KICKED OUT

OF MY OWN SERVER.


there is no option to log in with the new password nor is there any way of accessign anything to change or fix..

This is insane!

Uninstall MySQL, then go to your C:\program files folder, and delete the folder called MySQL. Reinstall MySQL, AND MAKE SURE YOU CREATE A PASSWORD!!! Then setup your server normally as if you just downloaded the repack.

Isnt this the thing where that program overwrote the old DBs?

Just go to control panel and set your comp back in time. Saved me once.

Ah, I misunderstood. Setting your computer back in time should work.

Go to Start, then click all programs, then go to Accessories, then go to System Tools, then click System Restore. There you can choose how far you want to take your computer back. For example, I can make my computer like it was a week ago using this tool. Hope this helps.

No it dosent... restore just alters registry...

Ill figure it out later i have no paitence to be fussing with my private server.. One day i will get it to work and i WILL get to do anythign i want.
