Which is the best server for WoW: TBC?

Got back to Ownedcore after so many years for this thread. From what I've read through a lot of forums, the best realm right now is Hellground. Not the most populated but they have made a lot of good fixes and changes through their time compared to a lot of servers. PlayTBC is hyped by the server is like a little league kid being expected to play in the major leagues. They expected a low interest and that would grow, but since they were the new guys, a lot of people from Nostalrius and everywhere, old players and new players, jumped ship on PlayTBC. It's been a mess the past few days and it probably will be hard for their team, and for the players for a few weeks if not more. It's going to take time and in that time we'll see if the team can live up to some of the expectations in bug fixes, server stability etc.

Most 2.4.3 servers have their own launchers so just download one of them and change realmlist. Then use wow.exe and play that way directly. Addons can be found on a lot of server forums like Wow-one and what not. Corecraft too I believe. You're probably better off starting with a 2.4.3 ui compilation and then find addons you want like carbonite etc. to fill what you need

On the other end of the spectrum, there's Corecraft. Unreleased with no release date in site. However, scripting wise, it's the best. Not even released and it's the best. You can dig through their forums for an IRC chat room that gives beta access (I believe they're still giving out accounts). Really well done so far, but their strive for perfection might just be the servers downfall.

Feenix last I saw was pretty dead. Low pop. Nothing special.

Vengeance is another interesting one. 1 year and still only karazhan. Low population. Mediocre scripts. Interestingly enough though, it's located in Canada. So, if you're a NA PvPer, this might be your only hope. Also, I believe they're still having an instant 58 event you can find on their forums.

PlayTBC started from scratch with not much experience, and the focus on TBC which mean that their vanilla content isn't that great neither. They only had a beta since December I believe? So a lot of bugs haven't been found, and a lot of bugs haven't been fixed.

Corecraft probably won't be released this year if ever. They'll be opening for 3v3 arena testing this week I believe? There was something about it on reddit.

Looking4Group.eu is the new TBC server.... 2k pop and really good devs. will only get bigger

I've only read negative things about L4G on Reddit, but people need to try it out for themselves and see if they think it's for them, no matter what server.

people say negative things about anyhting on reddit cause of what they're used to from Nost. thing is if u only want to play TBC, Looking4Group.eu is ur best choice, that's where all the TBC addicts are at right now (all the t op tbc pvpers), however, new server Kronos TBC "Ares" is relalunching and will be strongest server ina long time

So PlayTBC has closed down and Looking4Group seems to not be improving a lot, along with 2400 player cap, 40/60 ally/horde ratio and quite some bugs. The hope of a good tbc server is kinda dwindling.

Excalibur. peaks around 2.5k population, has gmhelp channel, start at lvl 1 but set .xprate 1 or .xprate 2. your choice. and idk why everyone thinks hellground is better when their population sucks, and scripting is exacly the same. both got chess,and honestly I haven't come across any bug in a while. so...yeah excal.
