MySQL help.weird

my server was working, then i restarted my computer and it just broke down and stopped and this happened:: ok so when i type in my password in the MySQL command client it doesnt work, then i try to connect to Navicat and it says "Host - 'localhost' is not allowed to connect to this MySQL server" then i tryed SQLyog and the same thing came up. help?

are u running vista?

ya vista has more problems with databases then windows XP

navicat cant connect if MySQL is not started...
try to reinstall MySQL
