    Differences of Servers?

I am now confused again, as I have been away for a while, and come back to a new type of private server, Ascent.

Can someone explain to me the differences between the three server types, and which is best for functionality with a small group of friends.
By functionality I mean: Instances work, Outlands work, mounts, spells, etc.
Small group of friends being: A few people, like ten tops.

I do know there are ManGOS, Antrix, and Ascent now.

    Help!?

They are pretty much all the same besides different commands... (I think)

Ascent is the way to go right now, mounts work . . . depending on the database (I like NCDB ) NPCs are fully spawned. Instances do work but you might need some scripts to get them fully functional.

And @ Pimpin . . . Antrix and Ascent have the same commands for the most part. MaNGOS is completely different from the other two.

    Re: Differences of Servers?

First page, Chrispee's new DB. Hes the best repacker on the site in my opinion, as great as NCDB is they release their thigs with bugs, their newest one doesnt have working trainers, recalls, and alot of commands were changed without providing a list of them.

    Edit: http://www.mmowned.com/forums/emulat...alese-new.html

http://www.mmowned.com/forums/ascent...s-hamachi.html is a guide for how to make one, only use the hamachi part if your planning on making it public to only a few friends.
