Is everything here dead ?

Hi guys. Long time no see. Haven't logged in the forums for a long time, and even forgot my old email and password so i'm using this instead.

So, question is, what's going on around here ? Are all the emulator projects dead ?

I'm currently trying to get a 2.4.3 or a 3.3.5a server setup, but i can't really decide which release is best. I'm not searching for something 100% perfect, but at least 98% i want stuff to work and to be scripted or something. Mostly want to start the server out of passion, because i had several servers from version 1.12.1 till 3.3.5a when WoW was still wow, but now i don't know if it's worth it anymore.

So any advice is very welcomed. I'm also opened to developers or people who have common interests to join me.

3.3.5 is the most stable by far and easiest type of server to get running. Downside is that everyone else has already had the same idea so there are hundreds if not thousands of these servers out there. You have to be able to do something unique if you want to gather a playerbase.

Hey, well i don't have unique ideas to be honest. I just want to make a nice 10-15x server, with normal retail content. Don't want to make a instant 70-80 server and make a shop with items.

Ok, i understand. Well i think i'm gonna compile the latest TrinityCore from GitHub and see how it goes. Thinking of starting a nice server focused on stability and functionality. At least now i have a job and i can invest a little money into my projects.
