Help joining in public server from lan...?

Can someone help me cause my friend like sits 1m away from me and he get cannot connect my public privat server what has worked at his home :P any idea how to fix this... plz ive tried nearly anything

i mean my friend is lan whit me and he cant connect to my public privat server...? help plz

Tell him to set his realmlist to your INTERNAL IP.

You can find it by:

Going to your start menu.
Clicking on "Run..."
Type in cmd, and run it.
When in the cmd console, type ipconfig.
The 192.168.1." "<--- That is your Internal IP.
