Need some help about getting started to play on a private server

Need some help to what i need to do and change in my wow folders and so on to get into the private server world instead of the normal wow.

Might be a stupid question, but give me some help if u can.

First you have to download the WoW Version you like to play (wotlk,cata etc.).Then go into the wow folder -> data -> enEN.Rightclick realmlist.wtf and open with .txt.Now you have to put in the realmlist from the server you would like to play on,for molten-wow its "Set realmlist logon.molten-wow.com"

Now start wow.exe and login
