use home server or VPS

My home server is good but my DSL internet line speed very bad ... usually disconnect ... so I have confused to buy a VPS service (virtual private server) . So can i setup WOW on VPS server ?
someone can help me with this problem ?

and one more thing , nơ i use antrix server --> can i use linux or unix or Fedora Core 4 for run antrix server ?

With DSL i wouldn't recommend running a home server, maybe if you had faster service, plus you need a computer with a good amount of RAM. I've never tried setting up a server on a VPS, and I'm not sure how you would go about it honestly. Last, I have played on a private server running on linux, once again, not sure how to do it since I don't run linux, but I'm positive its possible, since Ascent/Antrix can be compiled for linux. I would just look around and see if you can find a server that will allow enough connections to be made, and watch for bandwidth limitations, and will be an application server.

I can't answer most of your questions, but regarding the server hosting computer, Burlex, the developer of Ascent/Antrix, recommends that you run your server on a Linux computer.

ok , i'm done how to config antrix with Window VPS ...VPS 's better than i use my DSL line and create a WOw server at home ...thx everybody answer me .
