World of Warcraft not tracing correctly!

Hello there, dear MMOwned Community!
You see, I ran in to a small issue whilst trying to access a private server.

My World of Warcraft is not tracking its realm source from "realmlist.wtf" as it should. Regardless of what I write in it, I still end up on the normal realms.

This goes for "config.wtf" in the WTF directory as well.

Does anyone know where my client's tracking its damned realmlist, and by that, possibly know how to fix my issue?

Update!

I tried switching the settings for a standard realmlist.wtf from an (EU) client to an (US) client, which resulted in the fact that I could not log on, since I don't have an US account.

However, when I removed everything in realmlist.wtf (no longer a .wtf with information, just simply an empty file) it still directed me to the EU servers.

Another quite puzzeling thing is that when I delete the file, yes, remove it completely from the directory, I STILL access the EU serverlist... what the... *confused*

Battlenet overwrites the realmlist, if you enter a email then it will always go to blizzard unless you edit it in your hosts file.

Move your realmlist to the desktop, edit it, save, then move it back to the WoW direectory and it should work. You will still be able to log into retail but you will also be able to login to the private server.

e: By removing Battle.net.dll I managed to fix it! Thanks!
