Dedicated server specs needed to run WOW

Has anybody here tried buying a server from a store and hosting them at home? I want to know all about that, is there a guide I can read somewhere?

From what I understand, I don't even need to buy a server, I can just buy a $500-1000 HOME PC and that would work great. Am I right?

My NUMBER ONE PROBLEM IS GETTING A DEDICATED LINE, HOW MUCH DOES A 10 MB DEDICATED LINE EVEN COST?

I cant tell ya what these cost where you live since its different in every country. Although i would recommend you getting a 100mb connection.
