Namor, shut up, the system was to prevent spam and wasted space. If your release wasn't good enough to make it through, it was obviously your own fault, because chances are if it didn't make it, it was a crappy repack or stolen. Or worse you stole a crappy repack, who cares.

I will admit, it may not have been a "release" though. It probably belonged more in the General Discussion section. But can we stop with spamming this thread now? The purpose of this thread was to get recommendations on how to get the emulation section more active. :P

I'm hoping once someone gets ahold of a Cataclysm alpha server we'll see things get exciting again with Cataclysm sandboxes, servers, and even making custom servers based on that.

I wouldn't bet on that, thats the same attitude everyone had when BC come around and honestly i think its mostly gone downhill since then.

we'll I think people used to like to mix things up more. I think the reason emu's dying is because wotlk failed and no one really like playing it "Basically every new repack and server just focuses on wotlk expansion. Think back to the black temple malls and the balanced systems and all the fun stuff that there used to be tbc

I've been thinking of making a program for everyone to use no matter what emulator it is, and keep it alive unlike many other programs released. I just don't know what kind of program it should be.
