heh long live the scape! i think is terrible that the lawyers shut em down. i mean blizzard makes enough money as it is. the Private servers really arnt hurting them in fact i am told a LOT of people who play on private servers still sometimes play on public ones!

Thats not the point though, the point is your going towards the ToS to playing WoW, you are only allowed to play on the legit servers, and if you emulate one you can be sued, or some crap like that.

I have had my server for two almost three years. We are in the top 10 even top 5 most the time. We are currently in the top 20 cause of a dmca notice.

Our private server has not even made 500k since we first started. We take donations and they pay for everything. We have computers that blow away scape's. It's just amazing how much they make. It's bind blowing.

I have a big server and I can straight tell you that in no way do we make anything close. Not even close.

I doubt the other servers on the top make as much as scape. To be honest I dont think anyone makes as much as them period.

And private emulation of wow should'nt be illegal by any means. When you buy a car you are allowed to get anykind of addon's like stereo's and turbo's. Why should you buy a game and be stuck with blizzard's pay to play.

Remember what freedom was? Probably not since your all a bunch of kids born into a system of slavery unaware that it exsist.

Feel sorry for you kids who dont know anything about the world they truly live in.

p.s. I wish we all could just play for free that would take away all this private server drama. The game was meant to be fun and have fun.

Lol, this is all old news, but true. and no its not " just a game " she is a criminal, and although nothing posted here will do anything about it. she does need to be brought to " justice " or slim fast

Who cares about the legality of playing on emulated servers. The point is, Peyton is an embezzler and why she is not in prison and/or being investigated is beyond anyone. WoWScape staff seems to think that their little server and its forums are above the law. Their TOS or anything else they spit out is not above the U.S. Constitution. Agree not to insult them via their TOS, doing so, than getting banned for it, well that breaks the 1st Amendment; so technically they could be sued for banning you for speaking your mind (mmm gotta love it). WoWScape servers are located inside the United States and subject to its laws. Therefore I go back to why isn't Peyton in jail right now?

I do play on WoWScape, and I joined long before Peyton ever stuck her big fat head into any of WoWScape's, well, anything. Her gone is the only thing that will ever redeem WoWScape.

The first server I played was WoWscape, Alot of lagg, Only Donors, Blablabla. Always lagg but you get used to it, You think: Private server = Lagg, Then I played some other servers and I noticed that there are servers with no lagg ..

Peyton is just getting rich.
