more votes for your server with vote items

ok i came up with a idea to get more votes for your server if your on a top 100 or something like that were the more votes you have the higher the ranks your server is well if you have a voting reward system setup this is for you

if not set one up and this will be for you make some items make them require vote points and at the end of each week or what ever when ever you feel like it run this sql qurey and it will remove the item/items that anyone has and they will need to vote again to get them back which mean more votes for you and your server

DELETE FROM playeritems WHERE entry = votingitemid

if anyone dont know how to work this save it as remove vote items.sql and change the voteitemid to the id of the items that are rewarded for voting
make one line for each item you have and you will only need to run it once and all the vote reward items people have will be removed and they will need to vote to get them back

Wouldn't it be better to handle vote items via php that way you don't have to deal with it.
