What is your dream WoW Server?

i would want a fully scripted server will blizzard like servers. and it would be one of those servers blizz cant take down and it would have a whole shit full of donors, also the repack would come with human like gm bots that do whatever you command them to do.

My dream server would be a instant / levling to 80 server. I mostly care about the end game actually, as I believe levling is what you do at official servers only

You would have raids and instances, easy at start but with a rising difficulty. Where the hardest instances has really complex tactics and such, only for the skilled. No easy gear, you will need to work for it. Would also need very good opportunities to have a great community, the server would need loads of guilds etc. The server would also have a woriking PvP system, with working arenas etc. Would be truly epic.

Imo, most servers don't use the AI scripts to It's fullest, only to make the mob cast a spell here and there. I know LUA and I know even tho that the language seems to be simple, you can create really good Ai scripts with a bit of imagination.

ORG vs SW, horde attacks SW to capture SW, ally will be there to defend SW and a commander.
the horde needs to kill the commander to take over SW, you can pick a location to put the commander.
when horde took SW ally needs to get it back, they need to attack ORG to get SW back, when they killed the commander in ORG, SW and ORG will be in hands of the alliance. now horde needs to get it back to take over SW so they got ORG again... etc

when horde took over SW all the npc´s should be horde to, if possible.
same when ally takes over ORG.
for each kill you get a token, spend them in the vendors to get better items to defend your city, vendors should be in shat.
starting lvl is 1, get XP by killing players.
instances are locked, its a capture city realm!
all creatures are spawned like they should be
maybe some extra guards to help defending the cities

you should make a special realm for it

I gave you +Rep because I posted something similar, Level 80 I love because it opens a new range of talents. Gives you alot of options and for certain classes it takes skill to know how to use it all.

I take this quote as meening custom gear/instances I'm assuming? Which indeed I love because who wants to play exactly as blizzard has it? Not me, I want fun custom instances and gear so I can continue playing on that server and not get bored and say, boring... like the last. /sigh

35-40 xp rate ... and it has custom scripted quest areas and instances that are "blizzlike" story for example missions against scarlet crusade or something. So that you can get some new experince in wow instead of the old story.

I'll give you a massive project idea, which i personally think everyone would try out.

You start off at level 1. all races start in different areas and they quest up levels, once they hit a certain level like e.g 19 they cannot level past that until they do the required quests to allow them to keep leveling, so you could make them have to do instances and crap, level all the way up to 70 (80 when wotlk is out) so its like another blizzlike but its a whole new style, its all different, custom instances scripted to perfection. so everything you make is not like any other thing there is on retail, its made to your likings and completely different to retail but with a new look. Thats something i'd personally play cause it would be interesting to play it.

Well first off welcome back Mafiaboy havn't seen you around here for a while now, hows the server going?

Anyway back on topic my dream server would be a Fully scripted blizz server just the rates at a bit higher like 10x normal rate 20x gold items stay the same. Have a few custom content in there like Event area (more of them) e.g Mazes, Stairs, PvE thats kind of events no PvP, Pure PvE server not RP though they are good but who likes to stay on a game and not talk about general life.

Hmm No malls, No Donor Items (pointless, servers are there for they enjoyment of making people happy in my eyes no point in making some players alot stronger then others). Also i would have like leveling roads, Custom mounts like the rocket cars , More raids, New cities to explore. Thank god for WotLK. New areas like islands. Yeh i think thats it anyway hope that gave a you a few ideas.

My dream server would have 3 realms.

1. PvE realm. You start with pre-kara gear and gear to T4,T5 or T6. When you have full set of some of those you could migrate to the endgame realm which i will introduce soon.

2. PvP realm. You do arena and BG's to earn arena items. Here you would start with the best lvl 60 PvP gear.

3. Endgame realm. Here will be the true challenge. More harder raid bosses and HC PvP. This server uses tokens to buy Tier 5 or 6. Also here you can buy more arena stuff with honor and arena points.

Spectre wrote a City Conquest script and it's being used in the All-Free realm of WoWTrance, a realm which fits your description to a degree

Well MafiaBoy, Welcome to Suggestion-World. (Population TehSirus.)

What I find really fun in a server is some that isn't too easy or too hard.
I LOVE RP REALMS! If you could find good scriptors you'd make my dream come true.

You start off at level 20 or 30.. You do NOT have your noob armor. You will get some kind of weak level 20.

(Suggestion: Nice breastplate, Nice gauntlets, no helm, 1 shoulder, legs and boots.)

You're character depending on it's race.. Will start off in a revamped version of it's starting zone.. (For Example: Night elves will start near that Spidercave in Aldrasil.)

They will get a quest describing you're prizes horse ran off and you must get it. Once you go around your starting area, You find a black horse questhander.

Once you complete the quest, you get a level 20 or 30 horse with 60% speed.

And It all starts from there, Completing RPG like quests.. I'd actually LOVE to do those.
