Sabens's Huge Event list. PvP, PvE and fun events!

Hey guys. This is my huge list of events for private servers. They consist of PvP, PvE and fun events! I hope you guys find this list useful, and use it as you wish! Here we go!

PvP Events

1. Classic Gurubashi arena challenge. 1v1 tournament style. Draw out a bracket on a piece of paper of all attendees. Tell players to submit a ticket if they plan to attend.

2. 2v2, 3v3, 5v5 Gurubashi arena challenge. Again, draw out a bracket of teams. Have players submit a ticket with their team name, and their team players.

3. Free for all Gurubashi arena challenge. FFA! Have all players attending submit a ticket. Summon all players into the arena, and let the battle start! Last man standing wins!

4. Alterac Valley challenge. On most emulaters, AV is completly blank. Use your imagination with this! You could do two massive teams on each side, and have them battle each other. Last team standing wins.

5. Beat the GM! Have players challenge you, with you having epic gear on. Pots, heals and everything is allowed. Don't use GM spells or powers! If the player beats you, assign him a prize.

6. City conquest! Have each faction try to take over the other factions major city! (ex: Stormwind and Org) To take over the city, they must defeat the city's lord. Add a LUA script to the lord of the city to even make him harder! The winning faction gets the prize.(Assign prizes to the faction's team, not the whole faction)

PvE Events

1. Summon a world boss in a factions major city. Let them gather a team to take down the boss.

2. Instance races. Have as many teams, of players, as you want race each other to the end of the instance. First team to finish the instance wins.

3. Create a custom world boss(I suggest using my Lord Boldon boss. You can get the LUA and information here: http://www.mmowned.com/forums/emulat...-boss-lua.html). Spawn the boss in a deserted place. Have all players interested in taking the boss down submit a ticket. Put the team together, and summon the team to the boss. Create a custom loot table for the boss.

4. Turn yourself into a boss! Make your charicter have the displayid, attributes and spells of a certain boss, and have players fight him!

Prize ideas for PvE events:
:Murloc suit
:Piece of t6 for the each member of the winning team
:Piece of s4/5 for each member of the winning team
:Event tokens for the winning team
:Custom loot created by you
:Boss loot

Random Events

1. Triva event! Use trivia bot and create a custom channel for tivia questions!(more info here: http://www.mmowned.com/forums/emulat...tml#post999534).

2. Hide and seek! Hide yourself in a major city, and tell players in a global channel that the first one to find me gets a prize! First person who finds you wins. Do it for both factions!

3. Races! Use the the Thousand Needles raceway for a race! Players can use potions and spells, but can't use mounts! Player who wins the race wins.

4. Exploration! Have players explore certain areas, and players who find neat things can get a prize! You can have team explorations, or single explorations.

5. Mazes! Build a maze out of gameobjects, and have players race through them! You can also have a maze that goes into the sky, sort of like a staircase. You can make a quest starter at the beginning of the maze, then a quest finisher at the end.

6, Scavenger hunts! Hide items and go objects around in a certain area, and let players look for them!

Well, this concludes my list of events. I will update this list whenever I think of a new event that could be useful, so check back daily, or weekly!

I would make a add for the hide and seek in major city.

Take and found a mob with a simple name, once you found the mob, rename yourself into that name, create a guild if the mob has a subname. Get his display and use it on yourself. Now delete the NPC you have transformed into and take his place, and run the event. Try not to speak in the channel with this character, as then they know your name.

It's pretty fun and hard I had once many people running infront of me, but never noticed it was me that stood there.
