Advice about Statistics

Just wondering, could a few people post their opinions on the type of private server they enjoy playing and what they think would get the most members? I currently have a private server at blizzrate with 10x rates... anndddd its not getting anymore popular.. its pretty simple, few ports, and stuff and thats it but we're hosting events and all these things and i'm advertised on 5 websites...

Apparently I'm doing something wrong(because nobodys joining -_-)(its also been up for almost a week now). Can somebody help out here? :P

Well, I'll give you some tips I've learned this past year.
Make something different than others, so you can stand out, make something custom, thats so custom, it's awesome.
Dont overkill your server with donation items (if they're godlike) ruins pvp.
Dont give out gm powers (high gm powers) for donations.
And make sure you're on a stable, fast server.
