WARNING: THIS IS VERY VERY SIMPLE!!!


Ok, I am sure lots of people know this, but just for those who don't, this will be pretty useful to you in YOUR server. (If you wanna make blizzard Tiers or anything.)


Ok, so inside the world DB, there is a section for items_extendedcost


It looks a little something like this






Ok see it there, now I'm gunna explain the columns.




1st Column looks like this:





This column is where you type in the item that you want to sell. So say you want to sell your New Tier 7 head piece for a token that people get off drops, then you enter the ENTRY ID of the head piece in column 1.





2nd Column looks like this:




This column is for the token. Just put in the ENTRY ID of the thing that you want your item to cost. (In this case its the token) Simple enough, no?

And if the Item should have no costs, leave the second column blank?

No, this is ONLY if you want it to cost an item... if you dont want it to cost anything then dont even waste your time with this

can you use any item for it? or only blizz tokens as in old days cause of the dbc code entry?

if they fixed so we can use any item thats nice,
but however then it should have been a field more added,
with how many tokens it should cost, that would be cool hehe

You can use any item as a cost token, even custom, BUT, if it isn't in the DBC the vendor won't display the cost. It will just say you don't have enough to purchase if you don't. A good work around for that would be to make the npc's sub-title < 5 Voter Badge Items> and all items on that npc cost 5 custom voter badges.

ah ok, yeah i also know i saved some other blizz badge id,s of like costings from 10, 20, 30, ++ up to 150 badges, and i can just rename that badge to a custom name i want
and tell ppl to delete cache, and i have a ok system there too =)

but nice to know that complete customs works.
emu just gets better and better these days =)
