Million's of emulators but which one to choose ?

Ok I'm planing on starting up my own server soon but i have no idea which emulator to pick. If people could give me records of Uptime with players on or Bugs, Scripts, and Crashes compared to Other Emulator's that would be great. Please do not make this a flame war about who's is better Just give me the facts. Atm i know of Arcemu, Aspire, random versions of OpenAscent, Reborn Ascent, Kobold( or something) Emu , o and summit but that's not public so >.<. o and if anyone could point me to a really good compiling Guiding that would be great

From what i have read from the forums so far is Aspire is Stable and has great Uptime and has alot of new coding, But Arcemu has Better update's.

The Emu i choose will get a +Rep and another happy user

    Choose either Arcemu Or Aspirecore.

If you are a beginner you are best of using Arcemu. They have nice scripts, easy to use configs, pretty good uptimes on the latest revision, and is updated more frequently than Aspirecore.

Honestly when i do and if i do out of all of them i would pick ArcEmu it is probably the most stable community driven and it is the same as old ascent same commands some added and taken away somethings changed everything working thats my opinion...

I've played on a lot of Arcemu servers and they seem stable i like the appeal of Aspire Because they redid a lot of coding or that's what i have heard.

    I'd say use Reborn Ascent.

I'm a total newb, but so far I've been using MaNGOS for a few days. It was incredibly easy to set up, so much so that when I was done I was convinced I'd missed something and that the whole thing would come crashing down on me.

That being said, I'm reading good things about ArcEmu and I'm going to give it a shot this evening.

maybe dodge on ambush helps :yuck: i ve reccomend to choose between ascents

I worked with ascent 1 year, but now ascent no more, and here are arcemu ... So, i changed my emulator to mangos, and here is my opinion about mangos: If you use the latest rev from svn and udb with scripts, you can make a better emulator then arcemu (ascent), just a little care and it's beat arcemu.

I would probably go with ArcEmu or MaNGOS. Sure MaNGOS is a bit different, but its pretty good actually, and getting alot better ArcEmu is pretty good, but there are alot of hackers and whatnot being idiots and screwing up the Rev's, which is kind of annoying. But all in all, both really good Emulators.
