Yeah looks like he recolored it and made a transparent bg, but I think that's sufficient enough to help out some people who have no photoshop skills whatsoever.

You've got to have Photoshop installed, I recommend obtaining a copy of Photoshop CS3 and opening the .psd file.
If you're on windows go to > Start > Control Panel > Fonts > Drag and drop the font in there to install it onto your system.
