    ascent is still very stable.

    Ascent is the best emu out there... ArcEmu is basically too funserverish and expieremental for me

    yea, ascent was good as a Blizzlike server. but if u wanted to change it you would be to do it in core. kinda got rid of newbies.

    If ArcEmu does something major, I can just use a C++ File Comparison tool and collect which documents where changed in the changelog and create a custom patch. 'nuff said.

    Yes agreed ascent is one of the best out there although i would have to say the best active emu is Mangos

    I prefer ascent because for one its ascent and i love it. Its the most sturdy and stable. And I wouldn't be surprised if soon just like the other times someone began reopening ascent and beginning to keeping going.

    So, you can still add patches. And if you do something big:

    At some point you patch your server too I guess ??
    Was this file sposed to have an extension? .zip? .exe?
