Private Server on LAN

Hello all

I've been hanging around leeching for a while now and I'm going to continue in that fashion by asking for some help with setting up a WoW Private Server on LAN for me and a few of my friends to play on and enjoy.

I've been reading the guides and I think I understand how to get a private server working. My real question is how to go about setting it up so other people on my LAN can connect to it and play. Perhaps the answer is really simple but I'm a huge noob.

set your realm address to 192.168.1.????(???? the computers lan address) & be sure to enable firewall exception for your login server and realm server.note: this will not work if you anyone is connecting from outside you network.To setup open public access(internet) then set realm address to external ip address and also foward ports in router setup for login server and realm server.Hope that helps.
