I know but thats doesnt work.. tested that, and if I set my realmlist to my IP I can test myself if it works or not, but abousvly it doesnt .. :P
Yes I have, we've been trying it out for like 4 hours then we gave up on it, ive tried like everything - reseted my modem and router, reopened ports, etc etc.
I don't know anything about your router but try opening the ports like this:
Type Start Finish
tcp 8085 8085
And for realmd.exe:
Type Start Finish
tcp 3724 3724
in both incoming and outcoming to be sure
Look @ it..
Start : Finish
80 : 8889
both TCP and UDP
and as for realmd
3306 : 6668
Both TCP and UDP
Yeah but that wouldn't work on my router. Maybe it works on yours but I would test it just in case..
I still need help pretty plz
Im really sorry for the triple post but im just bumping this topic as I still need help - im willing to pay with paypal to whoever manages to find what the issue is that doesnt allow others to connect.
No one can do anything since all your settings are correct and you have turned off firewalls etc according to you.
One question.. did only one friend try to connect or did you ask someone else too? And tell them to start wow with wow.exe and not launcher.
Yeah 3 of my friends tried as we were on teamspeak, none of them was able to connect - so theres no possible way to fix this? I had my own server b4 everythin was working fun untill one day when I rebooted my PC everything just stopped working, I even tried to reinstall my PC - didnt work.
Of course theres a way to fix it..Something is not configured correct.
Please give some more info like what OS are you using?
And post both config files for mangos, your host file and your realmlist table
"until one day when I rebooted my pc"
Sounds like it could be that it changed your LAN IP if you don't have a static IP, open CMD and type ipconfig and make sure it's the same IP as you entered when you opened the ports.
