    Unless you're going to make custom spells etc. and very good at programing there is no point in making a custom patch.

    he wants to use the background downloader to make people have to download the current server patch like the real wow so they dont have to download manuely

    stupid idea, will eat your server bandwith and cause lagg... why making your own patchserver if people can just download then from millions of websites? :-/
