    Items are bugged?

    Could anyone tell me why every custom items i make have a ? icon ingame? they work but they have no icon and i have to drag them from my inventory to the slots if i want to equip them, ill +Rep for help

    Theres no fix (unless you know C++) as the problem is core-related. Just wait on ArcEmu to fix it or fix it yourself (don't ask me how idk lol).

    Lol sector.. This has little to nothing to do with the core.
    You've replied incorrectly in every single one of these "items are bugged" threads.

    Since patch 2.4, blizzard updated their itemdisplayinfo.dbc to only display and item's model and icon if the entry is in the DBC. If it isn't, it gets bugged.

    so ummmm if we tried hard enough do you think emulation could produce an optional itemdisplay.dbc for all private server users to download (if they choose) but find a way to make it not be used with retail but with private servers only

    is that possible

    Its possible, but its not going to happen for the same reason that every server doesn't have custom model edited areas.

    Thing is, you'll need to create a custom DBC for every server, since servers tend to have different items :P
