    [Question] Game Object issues

    Hello.
    Yes, I am a leecher, as you may be aware, but have begun to do stuff on my own based on what I have discovered in this forum.

    The deal is, I was working on some Game Objects; copying their display ID, and pasting them in an SQL file I was making. When I sent the file to the server I participate in, I was told that they did not work for some odd reason.

    After checking through my steps, I came to the conclusion that since I got the IDs from patch-enGB.mpq instead of locale-enGB.mpq, they weren't identified by the database.

    So, my final question is: Is it possible to get the server to identify the IDs in patch-enGB.mpq as well as locale-enGB.mpq, or is it (as of now) utterly impossible?

    (Server uses Ascent, currently around 2.4.1 or 2.4.2)

    Some objects are buggy from the start, and it should be able to identify from both .mpq files. No worry about that.

    Then it's probably the code I'm using.

    Here's an example of what I've been trying to get working.

    The only reason why some WMO displays can be datamined and used is because Blizzard has made GO versions of many of them. This is not one of them. I took a look through and there are no pirate ships that can be sapwned. Your gonna have to settle with re-using one in STV or using a classic ship (display 476).

    This one IS in the database, but in patch-enGB.mpq.

    Thats in the client as a WMO. Not a game object. There is no game object equivalent to it.

    The client can read off the patch.mpq but not for this. I have the same broken spawn on my server that I got from a custom GO package.
