Heya guys! I haven't been on MMowned for a while to make a contribute. and Yesterday I was pondering on what events I could do to make the players on my server happy, Heres all I've came up with!

I. Stair-Jump

Ahh, The classic stair jump. All you need is..

1. Tables (Look up IDs from Thottbot)
2. Maybe Benches, or Plants. (Be Creative!)
3. Being a GM on a server and being able to fly.

The Construction is very simple, Spawn a Starting point maybe with a quest,
then build stair with the tables, Make sure some of the stairs break
off though, Put maybe a few make you have to jump barely and some alot!

II. Turtle Race

First time I saw this, I laughed. All you need is..

1. Turtles. (Item ID: 23720)
2. A Racetrack. (Speedway in Thousand Needles)
3. A Few obstacles on the track.

This is a simple race around the course. Maybe put a few tables in the middle for the people to navigate or jump over, Also. Follow them at ALL TIMES! When their close the the finish line, Go right on the line and the second you see a turtle head. Print Screen.

III. Hide n' Seek.

Another Classic, All you need is..

1. A Simple location in the world.
2. Good hints for people to find you.

Very simple to set this up. Find a location than say .Recall add hideseek
then get to summoning everyone, tell them that
they need to find you in this place.
Once you say go, say .recall port hideseek
Make up some clues on the way, =)

IV. Convoy (Thanks to Kamical WoW!!)

I've never seen this game alot, But it is VERY fun!

1. Alot of Horde & Alliance Players.
2. A Faction to be a convoy (You must pick a starting location for them to start and end, If they get to the end the faction wins!)
3. A Faction to be attackers (Need Stealth Classes!)

Let me Pick a simple location, Maybe Orgrimmar. (H = CNV, A = ATK)
The horde start at Sen'jin Village, While the Alliance start at The Mini-Human castle. The object is to find the Convoy and kill everybody before they all rez if their all outta sight and dead, The Ally win.
If horde make it to Orgrimmar, They win.

V. Arena PVP

Another simple event, You'll need...

1. An Arena (Gurubashi, Blades edge, Nagrand)

This is pretty easy, Make a 2v2 PvP system and choose two random people. The person who wins will go to face the next person who wins etc like a roster. Maybe at the end It would be AllvsGM, and you can buff yourself with spells that aren't too godly.

VI. Kill the Carrier

A Very weird game..

Each faction has a Carrier, When a GM announces Who the carrier is,
The Battle begins! When the Carriers die on say the horde.. The Ally win, Etc.

Put a Buff on the Carriers so we know it's them.

VII. Boss Event

Very simple to make, Get a really strong boss with LUA and summon half the server, If they win. ask them to lineup and get a prize.
This chart will determine how much health it should have,

10-Man = 6000000 HP
20-Man = 14000000 HP
40-Man = 25000000 HP
50-Man = 30000000 HP
70-Man = 65000000 HP
100-Man = 90000000 HP

Something around those fields.

VIII. KILL BUNNEH

Very fun event, Like Hide n seek + PvP in one.

1. Spawn a Bunny with maybe 100000 HP.
2. Make him have Bad Aggro.
3. Whichever faction finds and kills the bunny with aggro will win.


Outro: There are many other events, But I wish to just share my favourite with you! Have fun.

I have this awesome idea of events i never told anyone:

TAKESHI'S CASTLE: The Event

Examples!

1. Skipping Stones
Take a pool of water (lava!) and put some GO's in there. Make some of them 'Steppable thru', so if you step (jump) on it, you fall to the lava. The ones who survive, get to the next level!

2. Bridge Ball
Take a thin GO and spawn it FILLED with npcs, so it's hard to target anything running on it. Now, make players run on it, and try to target them by clicking and cast knockback on them. The ones who survive, get to the next level!

3. I cant think of any more, but if you've watched Takeshi's Castle (it rox) You can think of more!

1 WOW QUIZ
Go to wowwiki.com and click random article. Then get something to ask about it (Where is scuttle coast?). Give prizes to the winners. I like to do these for my guildies.

2 Lyrics QUIZ
Go to some random lyrics site, get some random bands random song, post a part of it and see who gets it first. These might be hard

3 Urban slang QUIZ
Go to Urbandictionary.com and get a random article, then ask the meaning of it. The one who answers correctly wins a prize.

Gotta think of more.

You might want to mod the HPs of the bosses for the last one down a lot...as in deleting a 0 on each one :P 6 million HP is about how much illidan has, people would get bored sitting there for an hour spamming the same buttons

I have also created an event where i make about 20-30 chests in 6 different rows, but only one stores a gm token. The others port you to the beginning of event

Eventortal maze
what to do: you gonna go in to a maze and try to find the portal that leads to next portal maze and so on but if you take wrong you teleports to the start
