    A few questions.

hey MMowned i have decided to make custom instances, malls and so on and release them here cause I really love to do custom areas and make up my own stories for them.

Im kinda new to this because i allways had a guy helping me with sql emu and all that i just came up with the idea and so on.

I wonder like when i have created a mall and maybe added some custom items and some malls and so on.

How do I make it to an SQL and how do i know which files i should take. Make into SQL?

And i wonder if instead of making my own vendors if i could use the vendors in crispees repack or download another one and then just change the display ID ?
I only want to change the display id.

If i make custom objects will they be in the sql file i make then or do i have to make another file for it or so ?

Hope i could get some answers or if you could link me to a thread with the answers.

You will hopefully see my malls and instance in the future and i would love to co-operate with some of you in maybe instance realease or bigger projects.

    Regards Nickeg

if u are using SQLyog to edit your DB once u have created the items/vendors/etc. u just have to check box the line it is on and then click "Export As..." (the export as button is on that bar right above the table and is the icon on the left). once u select that then a box will popup and you must click what format u want to export as (obviously u want SQL *top right of this window*). then u want all fields highlighted and then just specify a name for the sql file.

Im so happy to see people wanting to contribute! its good! !!! yay!!.. Okay dude. Heres what you do -- Create a mall. When its 100% finished you go into your database and find the table "vendors" rightclick, choose dump sql file and then choose a destination for it. Do this with all the table that your ingame creation affects. Like. If you spawn a vendor. You should do it with creature_spawns.

When you've done it with all those tables, you can choose only to release a few vendors/spawns/etc. Open up one of the sql files that you dumped, with a notepad. Now scroll to the bottom. Where u recognize the IDS. (ex. you spawned vendor 9999 first, Then you find that in the file) and then mark all the text in there, all way to the bottom of the file. Now choose copy, (ctrl-c) and then make a new notepad, open it and then paste all the text in there (ctrl-v).. Do this with all the tables, and then save the notepad as mall.sql.. Take some screenies and put them in your thread.. Explain stuff etc. Tell you story.

    End of part 1:b

If i make custom objects will they be in the sql file i make then or do i have to make another file for it or so ?
You will have to dump an sql file of your gameobject_names and then take out the custom gameobjects like above..

    End of part 2;D

Hope you're gonna enjoy your stay here at mmowned

edit; this mini-guide is suitable for navicat
