[Info] WOTLK - Error Retrieving Characters

Some of you might have noticed (if you play on a WOTLK private server or sandbox, either OpenAscent WOTLK, Mangos Sandbox, Mike Crowe's Repack, or FrozenAscent) that errors have been coming up lately!
Although, not everyone gets these errors.

If you have downloaded the recent WOTLK Patch (Build 8471) then DOWNGRADE! If you still want to play WOTLK Private Servers.
This patch has changed the way that characters are read form the server. It is still unknown what this new system is - Myself and my team are looking into it however.

This might be the one good thing coming out of Alpha servers - being able to decipher Blizzard's client->server relationship changes before the big expansion, saving us work in the long run.

also i am getting a cannot get the char list when it tries to load my chars
and what patch should i have to have death knight?

If you have downloaded the recent WOTLK Patch (Build 8471) then DOWNGRADE!

Meaning if you have the newest patch ^_^.

The Death Knight is an issue FrozenAscent (i saw you were using it in the other thread) is working with, we will release a hotfix soon.
As for the character issue, simply downgrade to any other patch version besides that one.

ok look when i enable the Deathknight on the ascent world config i get a error when the ascent-world loads and when i disable it i can be one.... also i did downgrade

ok i fixed the Error that pops up and when i downgraded I STILL GET D/C on a char when a make a deathknight.... /cry is there any way to fix this please tell me
