help display id not working in inventory menu

    help display id not working in inventory

    ive been creating items using my own knowledge of mysql and wow-v combined however when i create new items with a valid display id they dont display correctly in my inventory (ie i get the question mark symbol for the picture) however they DO correctly display when they are A. equipped or B. in a vendors inventory. can anyone help me figure out what to change to get them to display in my inventory.

    There was something wrong with blizzards display ID's, you can't fix it.

    Actually, you can fix it. It requires players to download a patch though.
