    How do i edit the starting level at Ascent

    Hey I wonder how to change the starting level to for example 55. So players start at level 55 and then i can have xp rate 20. Instead of having a high xp rate.

    In the ascent-optional.conf file

    Code:
    <Optional    StartingLevel = "70"
                 LevelCap = "70"
                 GenLevelCap = "255">
    change the part marked in red to your start level.

    Ascent-Optional wasn't included in the download like less than a week ago by mistake so he might not have it.

    Try going to PlayercreateInfo in your DB and changing level there.

    If you do your own core updates then you can do the svn and go to the src part and find the optional configurations.

    Why do it the complicated, buggy way instead of updating the core?

    you could do a core edit... (check the 1000000000 posts made about it)
    OR listen to what other people say... it is up to you

    Use open ascent not ascent open ascent is updated faster / more. Most compiles you can dl have the optional thing in it so just edit the optional configs.
