[HELP] server donations

hey i just wanted to know how do i get people to make a donation? i have been running my server or about 2 months now and only made 140$ :crap: and i need some fast to pay the damn bill-

better content imo.. If your server offers good content with a fun place to play with a professional GM staff, the donations just come.

Also the server itself speaks for donations. Players are going to donate more for a server on a dedicated quad with 4gb of ram and 100mbps dedicated port over some vps or some server from your house using no-ip or hamachi.

Profit= -660$ -3960$ profit every year. Do you see how that works?

i have played a few private servers lately and considered donating to a few ( then discovered this place lol) and this is what i have learned so far
best bet to get donations
1 make the server playable
2 make the server enjoyable
3 donator items and rewards
4 having a GM always on and helpfull not some i have the power gm that just tells ppl delete ya cache and try again
i gave up on a few servers because of the gm on a power trip thing and one i will always go back to simple because the gm's are so helpfull and willing to spend the time to help and not give the cache anwser for everything
