    [Help] How to modify the core! chat support UTF-8

    I can not speak English well. So difficult to understand

    We'll talk again easily. For example

    Plr->BroadcastMessage("You are in combat!"); ---> Plr->BroadcastMessage("Chat Korean language..conversion");
    To modify the Korean language of the chat
    Does not display correctly.
    Perhaps Ansi, Unicode, UTF-8 conversion of the problem, I think.

    Ascent & OpenAscent Core from this support should be UTF-8 Will be displayed in a language other than English


    What should I do to fix the core?
    UTF-8 support for the language that appears to outcome
    How do I edit and use it?

    Please let me easily explains





    ex) This support should be UTF-8 Example

    1. Menu->AddItem(2, "Global Locations", 80);
    2. Plr->BroadcastMessage("You are in combat!");
    3. pCreature->SendChatMessage(CHAT_MSG_MONSTER_SAY, LANG_UNIVERSAL, "You have been cured of that dreaded sickness." );
    4. _unit->SendChatMessage(CHAT_MSG_MONSTER_YELL, LANG_UNIVERSAL, "Such arrogance!");

    also Database npc_monstersay table in the field text0 ~ 4


    When a language other than English is changing
    all the letters that are not visible.

    I'm pretty sure it has to do with MySQL, because I remember doing a detailed configuration when setting up my service, and they asked what character set I wanted to use. So I'd suggest doing that to fix this problem, and it should work (remember to back up your server, because you will lose your stuff if you don't).

    MySQL not involved. Database of the table of contents and fill in UTF-8 conversion.
    But above C + + source separate from the Database
    C++ source UTF-8 support for the way I want to know.

    Includes an example.
