how do i add this to my server ive downloaded 2 of the files but what do i do now. ive read the how to thing included but im still having trouble
i keep getting an error saying "ERROR 1054 (42S22) at like 14: unknown column 'max_amount' in 'field list' " anyone know whats wrong here and has a fix for it
I finally figured out how this works. Also, all of the words that are typed with quotations around them don't really mean they have quotations around them. I'm just trying to set it apart from the rest of the sentence. Download the CV_rev106 file only, because rev stands for revision, and it's the newest version. Once the file is downloaded, open the folder that you saved the CV_rev106.rar file in and right click the CV_rev106.rar file. One of the options that pop up when you right click it is the "extract here" option. Click the "extract here" option and click OK to start extracting. The files that are extracted from the CV_rev106.rar file should be in the same folder that you saved CV_rev106.rar file in. Open the new folder that should be called CV_rev106. There should be a folder called "tool". Right click it and choose the "edit" option. A file should pop up opened with notepad, which means you can edit it. Look for the set of words like this:
set user=
set pass=
set wdb=
I'm using a Mangos repack, which means the "set user" and "set pass" was already made, so all I did was put the user and pass of the owner of the Mangos repack in. "wdb" stands for world database. For Mangos users, you can find it in your private server folder. My folder is called Mangos since I'm using a Mangos server. There should be a file called "mangosd.exe". Open it, and there should be a group of words seperated by a ";". Mine happens to be:
127.0.0.1;user;pass;mangos
I switched the the real username and passwords with the words user and pass because security risks. Now put those set of numbers and words after the "set wdb=". Delete the ";", but leave a space inbetween each of the parts of the world database. So the set sdb should look like this:
set wdb=127.0.0.1 user pass mangos
Remember that I exchange the real username and password with the words user and pass for security risks. Now save the configured tool file and close it. Now start your server, but don't click the World of Warcraft icon to start playing. Just start the server. Open the tool file again, but don't edit it, just open it. It should then be asking you to type in a single letter. Type in the letter "i" and then press enter. Let it finish importing the vendors. Once it is done, go back to the screen where it says to type in a single letter. This time, type in the letter "s" to spawn the vendors. Once that is done, you can close the tool.bat file and restart you server. I restarted it by typing in shutdown in the mangosd.exe file, which is probably better than just closing all of the files open that are running your server. Once your server is shutdown, start it up again. The reason why you need to shut it down and restart it is to let the vendors spawning in your server take effect. Once you start up your server again, you can login and find the vendors on GM Island. For a Mangos server, you can teleport to GM Island by pressing enter in-game and typing:
.tele GMIsland
There are the instructions on how to have Season 4 vendors in your server.
Hmmm will try it when I get new HDD in the mean time +Rep x2
ohh very niceee..
Hmm thx for the share![]()
