[Help] All IP banned - Ascent and Logon deleted... /wrist

Someone must hate me and Exile WoW (Rey or Bapes I'm thinking) deleted my whole ascent and logon DB - But I back up every 30 minutes so it's ok... I just need help on how to prevent this on happening again... also said IP banned ...

Better protection mate. Sanitize site input, change passwords, etc.

Make it so your SQL will only accept connections from 127.0.0.1 meaning you have to be at the computer running the server to edit anything or even conenct to a server. If it was a GM then choose GM's wiseley

Well my Devs have limited Remote DB access and I trust all of them - they aren't allowed to delete anything but how can you make all accounts "az" all 20,000 of them...?

if you want to make all accounts 'az' you can just use a query

Change your mysql information and check to see if your webpages are safe, Its easy to do SQL injections.
