Open Ascent ?

Yup it's me again, well i got the Svn stuff and all but where do i download Openasent? i downloaded all the Updates the Screwed my server over but any way
is there like a repack in the thing? some one help me

ok i got the Ascent folder and WTF is the Logon-World-Realm files? can someone help me?

You need to compile them with Visual Studio, then those files will be in the "bin" folder...

Well, what your actually downloading is the "Source" code, which is just the actual machine language, this needs to be "Compiled" into something Windows can read, and Visual Studio 2008 is a "Compiler"

Also, if you just want to run an OpenAscent server, its ALOT easier to use a repack instead of compiling mate

well would i be able to get this funserver DB and on that repack there is no server folder to run a web site :?

Well you'd have to find a website yourself, I'm gonna include one with v2, and as for the funserver db, that would be easy, just start the server (remember to do the thing in red before you do), then connect with Navicat or heidisql or whatever to the DB, the password is ascent, then delete the "world" database, make a new "World" database, and import your funserver DB SQL file

Yep, if you just want a precompiled server, just copy the "server" directory out from the repack, and there you go, just a normal openascent pre-compiled server
