[Help] Leveling up a Gm to any level

Hey guys, I know some of you are gonna post what a newb!! but i was just wondering if there was a way to lvl up your gm charactors to lvl 200 or so ... when i use the command ".level up 200" Dont work ".modify level 200" Dont work only way i can level him up is if i went into my config files and type in the lvl i want him to be,level him up, then go back and erase the level i wanted him to be in the config files and i have to put it back to the lower lvl ... but i havent done that yet cause my server is live : (

Depends on the server type...I know Antrix much better than anything else but I can swear its .levelupSPACE(LEVELHERE)

Your server may not be set to go that high though try going to 70 first...Than 100...Than 200

you have to go into ur core config file core as in (ascent or MaNGOS) and change the max lvl for the server. that changes it for all chars on the server.

You need to change some stuff in your world-config file (if you are using ascent).

Open the conf files and search for "Level cap" and you should find that the variable there is set to 70. Change the cap (the lowest one, there should be two lines that's handeling levels) to w/e you like. (255 IS MAX LEVEL FOR BLIZZARD GAMES)

.modify level 255
yes, but you must set the max level first on the server. This also effects the GMs.

Well i knew that lol ... i used to be able to set my level to like 999 without going into the config files ... but that was in patch like ... 2.3.0 or somewhere around there

Get to the core, Level1/2/3.cpp, find the function that handles .mod level, and comment out the max level check.
