realmlist.wtf probs

ok....im tryin to change my realmlist but everytime i try to save it it says

"Cannot create the C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\realmlist.wtf file.

Make sure that the path and file name are correct."

It says that evry realmlist that i try to put in it..and yes i did uncheck the read only box

right click and open with notepad

i opened it up with notepad already when i change it says what i typed n my other post

but that will only just make 2 realmlist.wtf files

what id do is just make a brand new one with this info in it

set realmlist us.logon.worldofwarcraft.com
set patchlist us.version.worldofwarcraft.com

than save it as realmlist.wtf and than it should say there is a file named "realmlist.wtf" already do you want to overwrite it than click yes and your problems should be solved

oh and are you on XP or Vista sometimes weird things happen with vista?

I have the same problem but i found a solution:

Drag it on to your desktop.
Change the Realmlist while its there and save it.
Drag it back to your WoW Directory

So its a bit more time xD...

Do as davidc95 said. It looks like you don't have the rights on your computer to change files on some locations. Are you running XP or vista? With vista you maybe need to do something as it's ****ed up

If it dont work then make sure you map must be called World of warcraft
