[ERROR] MySQL error

Hello.
I have searched Google for an answer, and MMOwned.
I really don't know what to do.
I need something in plain English that I can understand.

I recently un-installed MySQL 6.0 as it doesn't work well with Ascent.
I re-installed MySQL 5.1
When it came to config wizard, it came up with the usual error of incorrect password.
So I dismissed it and went to MySQL re-config wizard.
I entered my password etc
When it came to the last option on MySQL (Apply security settings) there was an error. One I had never seen before.
It was 'mysql.servers table doesn't exist'.
I looked it up on Google, and still nothing.

Any help would be great.

try re-installing if that don't work use a repack with built in mysql like ac-web

I am using MySQL from the MySQL website.
AC-Web sucks

EDIT: going to re-install now
EDIT2:un-installed. Just doing a TuneUp scan a sec (corrects and removes invalid registry etc)

you can use their built in mysql but use your own database, only a suggestion if all else fails

EDIT: Reinstalled. Not working. Just remembered math exam and Biology exam tomorrow... damn...
