I got a PM on ascentemu.com telling me the same. They said I have to download a Executable file. I did this. Then they said I have to execute it. I did and suddenly my Computer Shuted down and does not Work anymore!

I found out they sended me a "system_****er.exe". I'm writen this with the Computer of a friend.

I know I'm stupid to execute the file, but I DONT WANT OTHERS be same stupid as me...

Maybe this is a real crew for a new Core but it also can be the same who ruined my Computer, so be carefully with downloading files! The File they gave me was not displayed on ANY Viruscheck of VirusTotal - Free Online Virus and Malware Scan SO REALLY BE CAREFUL!

idiots , u didn't see the warnings on ascentemu.com? Some people are sending emails using ascentemu's and requesting money if they want to keep using ascent. I guess now they are trying to **** over computer's. Not sure if this is an act to bring down ascentemu or put pressure for 2.4 , or just make some quick cash , rly not sure.

To revive my Computer I'm downloading Knoppix now, to backup my datas and install Vista, then I'll take datas Back on PC and be happy xD

But it's really sad that people want to ruin other people wich find no way like me to save his / her Computer... So always get a Knoppix (Linux that can Boot completly from a DVD) Boot DVD that you can Save your datas again =) (You'll need a External Harddrive too)

But its a good way to rescue your Computer =)

No point we have a 2.4.1 stable. And we aren't releasing it you cant fix the ptr its useless no matter what you do it will only host 300 players. Then crash permenitally.
