Quest level help PLEASE

I just set up a Ascent 2.3 server and it won't allow me to pick up any grey quests. I looked in the SQL and saw that some of those had the Questlevel field set to zero, I changed those to a more decent level, but still once I pass 10 levels higher than whatever value is there it won't allow me to pick up the quests. Also some of the problematic quests aren't in the SQL database, because of this My hunters can't get pets, my warlocks don't get demons. Pretty much all Class quests are comepletely unacquirable. If anyone can give me a solution it would be AWESOME.

Erm.. I would just try a new core.. But im not that experienced with weirdo bugs^^

I suppose I should be more specific and say it's the AC Web Ultimate repack that I'm having the issue with

2.3 is old, very old.
Get a better stable core, like 3.8 or even 4.0

Okay, I'm obviously not getting my question out clearly...

I just downloaded the AC Web Ultimate repack last week from they're sight so I'm pretty sure it's a current version. I meant it's a 2.3.x patch server...

I want to know if anyone else has had problems with quests becoming unavailable after a certain point, and if they have, what they did to fix it.

Or if that solution cant be given then if anyone knows the code I need to put into the sql database so that the trainers will teach the Demon and Pet related skills (Summoning demons / taming, traing, feeding hunter pets) I would be greatly appreciative.

I have this issue to, all I did was create custom quests where the player simply talks to the quest giver and they quest giver gives the spell as a reward.


It's fairly easy, but I don't know how many servers have this.
There are the basic tabs I use. Key areas are in red.

51 is area, dunno why but it works as 51.
First 4 is the class, for Hunters only.
Second 4 is special flags, no idea, leave as 4!
Spell 5300, Beast Training - Spells - World of Warcraft

I do this for all my basic class quest-skills,

Warrior stances, hunter pets, warlock and pally mounts/demons, druid forms etc.

Okay I'm farely certain your idea is good, it looks like it would work, but I really don't know much about running these servers and can't figure out how to implement your sage advice. At this point I'm just gonna give up and not even worry about trying to fix it. Thank you very much Cairi for your input, I'm just sorry I wasn't able to make better use of it, still giving you plus rep for actually trying to give me a solution.
