Ok, find your WoW Folder in your C:/My computer/My programs/ World of warcraft.
Don't enter the folder. Click it. Press Control C. Un-click the world of warcraft folder. Press control V. Wait till everything is done and it made a new folder. Rename that folder to WoW2 or anything EX: I am a nub. And go into the newly created folder![]()
Delete your patch.mpq located in your data folder. Find the application Repair. Should have a little symbol like a wrench. Double click it. Press "Reset and check files" Then a thing will pop up and ask you something click yes, and let the repair downgrade you. Once it is finished. Look up some patches or you can go into your I am a nub folder and click the next patch. Get to 2.3.3 and stop everything. Go into your realmlist.wtf open it up with notepad. You should see something like
set realmlist us.logon.worldofwarcraft.com
set patchlist us.logon.version.worldofwarcraft.com
Or whatever.
Change the setpatchlist to this
set patchlist imanub
or any other random sorts of letters that was not there before, if you want. Just remove the "m" in ".com" I really don't care.
Just change it.
Set your realmlist to the server you want that supports 2.3.3 and
Woo-hoo your done, now you have 2 Wow's and when a new patch comes out, update one, and don't update other unless that next patch supports it.
I am tired of people complaining.
Thanks for your time.
Takes a little bit of time, but is well worth it in furure patches.
Btw. I searched nothing is there. Also if this is so "Common sence" People would not be running into garbage cans trying to get depatched and play retail.
