What happened to antrix?

My search is screwy so there is no way i know if this is a repost

What happened to antrix? people say ascent is an advanced version of antrix, but my old antrix server could run for four days unmonitored, but any ascent (ive tried 2) server ive made crashes in less than an hour.

ive used different databases, public and non-public hostings, and cross hosting (using different versions of ascent for different things, like 1 version logonserver.exe, and a different version ascent.exe)

well anyway, this is a request because i am asking for an old antrix core to host a server, or a VERY stable version of ascent

Also, an recommended DB's?, AC web ultimate repack is a cheap way to make a server...

I know, I love Antrix, but I got used to Ascent which I think is crap! To unstable and undeveloped for me....

Yes, I know that, but I think Antrix is better and a hell of a lot simpler than Ascent.... (Different codes, different cake)

1, Antrix IS ascent. In July of 07, Burlex overhauled the team and abandoned the name "antrix", they then called their core "ascent". THEY ARE THE SAME THING
2, Ascent can run for weeks with amazing uptime if you know how to run a server correctly.

Exactly what Gastric said. I had a ascent server up for 3 weeks with no crashes or problems

Yea, But when they abandoned there name, They changed WAY to many files.
