[Question] A question on Navicat, extremely simple.

I've done this before, but I can't remember how I did.. >.<

I can't remember how to get INTO Navicat, like, the Hostname user pass.

localhost, root, ascent did not work, and neither did my hamachi IP which I have edited in all the conf files you need to. Please help!

And also: Exscuse my stupidity, second time I've ever done this. =/ I can't believe I did it the first time. =P

When you're in connections.. Write the name and password you have in your conf files.. And host is localhost

I have put my hamachi ID in the place of all those places. I've tried using my hamachi ID with the user and pass, it doesn't work.

Wow..... Without the bold, I would have tore you apart :P. If you forgot the password and username to your MYSQL database...
Usually the username is almost always "root"

Yes, I know.. Root and ascent, it's the hostname part thats not working. It says:

"Can't connect to MySQL server on 'localhost'." I changed it back to localhost, all the fields I needed to, anyway.

No dice. I'm using a repack, so I'm going to re-extract it, put the maps in, follow whatever else I need to do, and try again.

control alt delete, then look at your proccesses, look for one called mysqld-nt.exe .
If you can't find it, Mysql is not running and you have install it at...

Once downloaded and installed go configure it.

Sigh.. I've compiled my own Ascent stuff, and I STILL can't connect. >.<

I downloaded the MySQL thing, and it worked. But now I can't connect, all the settings are at localhost, root, and ascent as Hostname/User/Pass.

I've tried this with: Navicat, Heidi SQL, AND SQLYog.
