    Help: Mob has Loot.

ok, i`ve gotten nodes working with the Wow Radar, but can`t seem to get mob has loot to work.

i`ve been checking the Unit_Field_dyn_flags (TLS) it never seems to have any values.? Does it only show a value for mob has loot after you kill a mob?

Thanks for everyones help so far.

unit_field_dyn_flags works fine for me. But of course they only show after you have killed the mob. You cannot tell in advance whether the mob is going to drop anything just as you cannot tell in advance whether the mob is skinnable...

You could tell the loot... I think there was a hack for that Pre-TBC (fixed now ofc :/) Just wanted to tell

Could be, but at the moment, there is no way to tell whether the mob has loot without killing it.

Loot is pre-determined on Live servers. BUT There is no hack to check what WILL be dropped (Sorry if this isn't the question). This is because the server does not send loot tables direct to the client.

ALTHOUGH, there is a twist. SOME mobs will show drops before hand visually. This was known to happen with weapons and sometimes feet/hand gear if the mob could wear them. This exploit was used to farm level 40-49 twink staffs on human mobs that were wielding the staff.

Other than this, loot cannot be flagged.

i was hoping that you could see if the mob has loot before kill it. that way you could target only mobs with loot.

but i see that, it`s not possible.

If you can check models the mobs are weilding, you could check for weapons but I'm not sure that would work.

My question to your logic then about the weapons in the human's hands and stuff is how would you tell if say Mother Shaz or Illidan would be dropping their weapons?

this probably won't work with them. this was only used for particular mobs that had shown this trait, mainly humanoids - non-boss/elites in the world.

It's not worth the trouble... it was a bug a long time ago involving the dragonkin in the burning steppes and the Glowing Brightwood Staff.
