PatchDiff2 (IDA 6.3) - Does anyone have this working properly?

I have compiled it on OS X (from https://github.com/alexander-pick/patchdiff2_ida6 ) and it basically just says in progress forever.

Trying to use it on 2 5.x binaries.

I'm having the same issue when trying to compare 4.x .idb made by someone else and a 5.x .idb made by me. I did notice if I compared two .idb's made by myself or two by the same other person, it works within about 20-30 seconds.

I wonder if there's some kinda compatibility issues going on with the .idb.

Have you tried comparing two of your own .idbs?

use zynamics bindiff^^ it's not free, but there is a version in the web

I paid for it. I did end up buying BinDiff, which works.

I actually left PatchDiff2 running, it took 2 FULL days, but completed
