    C++, to what extent?

    So I have just started to learn C++ for the purpose of Game Reversing and other things similar, and I must know... What else?
    What else would I have to learn in order to start making hacks? Would I need to learn ASM or any other language of the sort?

    Very excited.

    Personally, I jumped into coding echo servers and what not in C++ about a couple years ago. Just went to Google, and downloaded a ton of source, and tutorials. (this was after knowing the basics of course)

    Start small is what I say, and build up. There is NO WAY you will be able to handle coding big projects right off the getgo. Personally, as I have said... I started out coding really easy simple echo severs and what not. Eventually made my first proxy. My first proxy was a real piece of crap, it was basically just a while loop. But I built on it, added functionality to it, and as the projects, and programs grew so did my knowledge. Personally, the real challenge is having everything organized and leveled out correctly, without a good foundation in how to set certain things up... you will surely run into many problems.
